To, The Policymakers
Through my journey, I’ve come to believe that real, lasting progress is driven by three core pillars: cutting-edge technology, forward-thinking policy, and above all, seamless execution. In India, we often have no shortage of technological talent or bold ideas but where we frequently fall short is in the follow-through. The disconnect between intent and implementation is often rooted in systems that are not built for speed, nuance, or innovation. This is precisely why I strongly advocate for a greater role for specialists in governance experts who bring deep domain knowledge, real-world experience, and the agility to respond to complex, evolving challenges. When specialists are empowered to help shape policy and lead execution, we can bridge the gap between vision and reality, and unlock the full transformative potential of our country’s innovation ecosystem.

To, Scientific Fraternity
The Indian research environment lacks utilizable digital infrastructure at many levels. We are pioneers in computational knowledge. However, there exists a systematic lack of concepts and coherence, which as consequence trail us behind. If JEE-GATE can be organized at such a large scale, with shared contribution of all stakeholders, then we can also easily accomplish pan India, single platform recruitment of various roles, research funding applications, management of researcher’s data, shared instrument facility program, and Information Centre. This will reduce barriers like overload time, unnecessary contests, mental blockages, and in turns will enhance creativity and productivity. Need smaller reforms for greater impact!

What is it ?
Notes to Leader, is a campaign gathering constructive reflections in short note, with a challenge in science premises, its consequence, and a plausible solution addressed to the change makers guiding our knowledge ecosystem.
Whether you’re a student, researcher, teacher, administrator, or independent thinker, your note matters!
To the people who hold the pen, here’s what we hope you write:
- Aspirations and expectations for a better research, education and system future
- Challenges on the ground
- Honest calls for systemic change
- Appreciations or reflections on positive efforts
- And most important a solution to initiate dialogue
